Cumberland – MD

Canal Place is a celebration of the spirit and hard work that made Cumberland, Maryland a bustling hub of commerce and transportation during the 19th Century.

It offers many attractions including the C&O Canal National Historic Park, the Shops at Canal Place, and George Washington’s Headquaters. Today Cumberland is still vital to the region as a transportation and regional hub. C&O railroad can be seen along with the canal and Interstate 68.
