New River Gorge Bridge – WV

Spanning 3,030 feet, the New River Gorge Bridge is the fourth largest steel single-span arch bridge in the United States. Opened in 1977, the road surface is 876 feet above the New River. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was featured on the West Virginia commemorative quarter issued by the US Mint in 2006.
